The Yellow Rumped Warbler is a common songbird found all over the United States. It's known and named for its distinctive yellow spot which makes this bird both unique and beautiful to watch.

Make this cute warbler block using only traditional piecing methods. To make the block coloring true to life, you'll need yellow and two different shades of gray, along with a small amount of black and brown for the eyes, beak, and branch upon which the warbler sits. Use fat quarters, layer cakes, or assorted scraps to cut the
required pieces.

This pattern will make a 16" finished quilt block.
