Each participant will be assigned a partner (domestic or international), make and ship them a Valentine's Themed Mug Rug.

What is a Mug Rug?

A mug rug is a small quilted mat, bigger than a coaster but smaller than a placemat—perfect for a coffee cup and a snack. It’s a fun project to use up fabric scraps, try new techniques, and play with colors and patterns. Mug rugs are quick to make, practical, and make thoughtful handmade gifts!

  • Signup Deadline is Thursday, January 29th and partners will be revealed on Monday, February 2nd, 2026.
  • Shipping deadline is Friday, February 27th, 2026
  • Participants will ship their completed Mug Rug to their assigned partner.
